Having headed a magazine that initially offered no commercial success, Fokin managed to attract such well-known huntsmen as S. A. Buturlin, A. P. Ivashentsov, Siberian bear hunter A. N. Lyalin, an unrivalled expert on huntsmen N. P. Kishensky, and others. Unfortunately, for lack of sufficient funds, the magazine was published without illustrations.
