The regularities established by the authors of the formation of differential radiological resistance of organisms with different genome structure are described, which are of fundamental importance for understanding the biological essence of the radiation resistance phenomenon. The principles of radiation taxonomy are formulated and a hierarchy of radiotaxonomes, which adequately reflects the hierarchical system of biological species, is revealed. It is shown that the results of radiation taxonomy reflect successive stages in the formation of a hierarchical system of reliability of the genetic apparatus of the cell. Consideration of the evolution of the genome as a dynamic process of vector changes in its reliability and information capacity has made it possible from a unified perspective to reconstruct the most likely pathways of evolution of life on Earth.
