The work Petrefacta germaniae (1826-1844), originally intended to illustrate all the fossils of invertebrate animals in Germany, is incomplete, consisting only of drawings of sponges, corals, needles, and a portion of shellfish. The folder contains engravings from L (50) to CXCIX (199), plus two unnumbered engravings: the Carbon Age and the Jurassic Period.
