Short description: From the foreword: Perfidiously attacking the Soviet Union, the German fascist invaders and their accomplices commit heinous crimes in the territory temporarily occupied by them: torture, torture, and murder of civilians; forcible enslavement of hundreds of thousands of Soviet citizens; general plunder of urban and rural populations and removal to Germany of the personal property of Soviet citizens accumulated by their honest labor, as well as of collective and state property; destruction of monuments of art and culture of the peoples of the Soviet Union and theft of artistic and historical values; destruction of buildings and theft of religious utensils. After expelling the occupiers from Stalingrad, 323 bodies of women, 69 corpses of old people, 84 corpses of men, and 50 corpses of children were found in a hole near the building housing the German commandant.
