Description: Short description: Meshkov Evgeny Alekseevich, born in 1932, is a Soviet graphic artist, a member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. Since 1944, he has attended classes in the insulated studio at the Compressor Club. In 1947, he entered the Moscow Secondary School of Art (MSH). In 1952, he graduated from school and entered the Graphic Faculty of the Moscow State Art Institute named after V. I. Surikov. Since the fourth year, he studied in the studio of book graphics with Professor B. A. Dekhterev. In 1958, he graduated from the institute, having defended his thesis Illustration and Decoration of the Tragedy of Macbeth V. Shakespeare.
