Short description: Nikolai Vasilyevich Kuzmin (1890-1987), a Soviet graphic illustrator of works of Russian and foreign classical literature, a corresponding member of the Academy of Architects of the USSR. Tsar Solomons circle is illustrated by the artist himself and vividly written autobiographical novels telling how a Russian intellectual grew and formed from a descendant of the serf peasants of Tambov province, how his love of the beautiful awakened in his soul, and what paths took him to the road of great art. The artist very convex painted the mores of the inhabitants of the small county town of Serdobsk, where he spent his childhood and youth, and masterfully recreated the portraits of the people around him.
