Description: Short description: Boris Nikolaevich Ternovets (1884-1941), Russian art historian. Studied at the Faculty of Law of Moscow University (1903-08) and Munich University (1911-12), in 1907-14 studied and worked at private art schools in Moscow, Munich and Paris (including with E.A. Burdel). As a sculptor, he participated in the implementation of Lenins plan for monumental propaganda (2nd prize for the project of the monument to Liberated Labor, 1920).
