Description: Short description: Noskovich Nina Alekseevna (her maiden name: Lekarenko (1911-1995), artist, book illustrator. Born in St. Petersburg in 1911. Graduated from the gymnasium of M. N. Stoyunina. She entered and studied at the Academy of Arts in the department of newspapers, magazines and childrens books, then transferred to the Moscow Polygraphic Institute. From 1931 until her arrest, she worked in the Leningrad branch of the childrens literature publishing house under the direction of the artist V. V. Lebedev, published her work, in particular in the childrens magazine Chizh. There are known at least two portraits of Nina Lekarenko by Lebedev.
