Description: Short description: Dmitry Andreevich Bazhanov was born on October 14, 1902, in Saratov. In 1924, he graduated from the Moscow Higher Art and Technical Workshops (VKHUTEMAS), a teacher and academician of the Imperial Academy of Arts, D. N. Kardovsky. Since the late 1920s, the artist has worked with publishing houses: the State Publishing House of Art Literature (Goslitizdat, now the Publishing House of Art Literature), Gosidat, GIHL, and others. Over the years of his work, the artist has designed many books, among them: Ludiski P. V. Oreshina (1927), the Northern Lights M. Marich (1928), Notes by F.
