Tolstoy, I.S. Turgenev, I.A. Goncharov, F.M. Dostoyevsky, A.F. Pisemsky, N.A. Nekrasov, M.E. Saltykov, I.I. Panaev and many others, was in the late playwrights personal archive and in 1921 was acquired from his heirs by the founding director of the A. Bakhrushin State Theatre Museum.
