The leitmotif of the proposed stories is the difficult fate of not very happy people, love, family stories, mutual understanding or misunderstanding in families, conflicts of orphanhood, loneliness, approaching old age. The war went on for all destinies. Now the stories are interesting because they reflect the world of a real person who survives in the conditions of Soviet reality and does not participate in the next “victory march” of Soviet power. The author sympathizes with his characters. Their fates reflect the process of the author's self-knowledge. Together with his heroes L.L. as if he lives their lives and at the same time embodies his “I” in every other life. When reading the book, there is no feeling of hopelessness, despite the described hardships of the characters. The stories are written in a good literary language, lively style.
